Custom STC Development

When your helicopter needs something highly custom, PHI is here to assist you through the STC process.

With our streamlined process, we can aid you through all of the steps to obtaining an STC from design to flight testing.

STCs

PHI is experienced in managing the entire STC process, from design to continuing maintenance, which is further facilitated by our solid relationship with the FAA. Our teams will gather the needed engineering design data along with the data for the proof of airworthiness and create plans for flight testing to fast-track the final installation.

PHI has all of the required resources and personnel to perform every step of the STC process in-house at a reasonable cost. This includes:

  • FAA approved DERs/DARs
  • Specialized shops for modification creation
  • Helicopters outfitted for flight testing
  • Pilots
  • Flight Test Engineers
